The fit on these is definitely closer to the body and they're a little thicker material than I expected along with a tapered ankle, I dont have huge thighs at all but these are not great for any kind of workout with squatting in the program.
The inside of the material is 'grippy' and coupled with the close and tapered fit in the legs, it doesnt glide over the skin and for me it tends to stick to the knees when doing squat exercises and isnt comfortable for anything where I'm doing squats.
That said the fit looks good (not too baggy or too tight) and they're fine for casual wear or running, cycling and upper body workout but I think this material is not ideal for anything where you're bending your knees deeply. Not sure if getting a large would've addressed this, would probably just consider something like cotton or thinner nylon next time.
I would definitely recommend these to anyone in the military, or even every day life!
